it is ok that you lost a lot of fitness. You knew what you got into. Now there is nothing stopping you though from getting it back.

Yeah of course you are even slower now numbnut. What did you think would happen? There is no magic VO2max fairy that comes visiting at night and sprinkels fitness on you. So get your shit together and get that ego to shut up and just take one freaking step after the other!

Like the 10k today. That was a good start. Shuffeling through the park …

  3. Sorry I have been absent from WordPress for so long! I have been focusing on the journalism and things are really moving forwards for me at the BBC. I so admire your determination to carry on running despite physical injuries lost fitness and terrible weather. If only I had that dedication to fitness but the most I can manage of cardio is 2 hours a week. Keep running and thanks for your support for my blog. I will be posting some of the reports I’ve done for the BBC in the New Year. Happy Christmas I hope you enjoy the festive season Caroline xx
