Colors of Autumn

May I take you on a little trip through the Irish autumn today?

I saw new colors everywhere I looked and was glad I had listened to Gareth and brought my own fuel!

Somehow my favorite hill top had been burned and I felt like on a volcano.

The views though – always amazing (check bottom of the post for a quick youtube 360 view).

Crazy autumn colors along the roads as well:

… and yes finally – I found something worth tagging! No not the cow (we need a tag for that) and no not the castle … I mean I #spottedTheBike!wp-1475917830879.jpg

Here’s the hill top view! It starts with my little beach and hill in the far distance. You can also see Sugarloaf and Bray Head!

That’s it for today. 2 hours and 10 minutes done, plus some walking before and after. Stay tuned for tomorrow, as I will publish my first ever running book review and I bet it’s a book you don’t yet know!

  1. It’s beautiful the landscape you run through and not a sky scraper in sight! I bet there’s not many Afro hairdressers though – that’s what puts me off moving to the countryside in England! Well also as a born and bred Londoner I love the city. Happy running 🙂

  2. Wow that mushroom/toadstools colour! Yeah evil cow if ever I saw one, he probably rides the bike to the pub after dark, well known cow trait!

And you took advice from me?! A red letter day lol

    1. Absolutely! Let’s mark it in our diaries. It worked like a charm as well. After 1.5 hours I was even speeding up and running 7:30 min/km at 133 heart rate … insane! I ate before and during and was drinking the whole time.

      1. I think fuelling as you go along helps tremendously. I just dripfeed as and when I feel like it, looks like we’re both improving in leaps and bounds =) Did you take a pack?

      2. I took my bottle, which has place for food. I just took some dried apricots and mix of nuts. However … I really don’t like carrying it around, so … yes I just ordered a “vest”! Maybe that’s the answer for me? I’m hopeful … worst case I can put my bottle (which I love) in the back of the vest lol. So more gear reviews coming up! Which pack did you have again? It was an inov8 pack right?
