What’s South? Cliffs and Clouds!

Today I skipped the pavement and took the train to head south. It’s just a short ride and I can walk along the beach to the station as a warm up.

Fortunately it had already started raining before I headed out, so I took my rain gear. I got completely soaked by the end, so this was perfect!

I did 2 hours – out and back. It included 200 meters of elevation, which is 656 feet according to Google. I had to walk/hike the steep sections to stick to an aerobic heart rate.

And yes, of course I took pictures for you all ๐Ÿ™‚ even on a rainy day it’s just fantastic to be out there and enjoy:

I did this route before and can’t believe I run it now out and back … I guess small, slow and easy steps are the way to go for me.

What are you up to this weekend? Isn’t summer rain running much better than the icy stuff we get in the winter?

  2. I’m catching up on my reading this week. These shots are amazing. I’m jealous I don’t have anything remotely similar to this close by. I’ll live vicariously through you ๐Ÿ˜‰
