Running out of words

I’m running out of words to describe the magic that happens at sunrise. This might be due to my lack of knowledge so I’ll try and improve that.

Enjoyed 30 minutes with a spectacular sunrise at an average heartrate of 150. Slow down please!

How would you describe it?

  1. This is breathtaking and I like your account of it. It’s like poetry. I wondered if you would be willing to share how running has shaped you and contributed to your current pursuits on our new website at AlliedAthletes.weebly.com (See the “Forums” page. Its purpose is to bring current and former athletes together and to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space for individuals to share their athletic triumphs and struggles. We’d love it if you could sign in at no cost or spam via our site’s “members and events” page. Tell your athletic friends about us! Thank you very much for your time and consideration!

  2. Running at sunrise is my most favorite thing. I try to start just a tad before so that as my body begins to set into a rhythm and my breathing is just right I get run with my head up and watch the world wake before my very eyes. The deer scurry off to find a hiding place and the birds begin to flit about. I get to sleepy heads drag into their cars carrying steamy cups of warmth and I get to watch the sky change colors. I could go on forever about this but to me it is the best time of day to run.

  3. Simply stunning. It almost inspires me to rise a little earlier. Maybe when the weather improves i’ll switch around from afternoons to mornings every now and again just so I can witness sights like this! Beautiful photo =)

    1. I tried but couldn’t get myself motivated later in the day. Now I’m used to do it first thing in the morning. Waking up with the sun is special. You’ll have to take pictures if you try and describe it!
